Feature Friday: Dresser redo by Bethany

Sorry feature Friday is a tad late this week. We were traveling for the holiday weekend, and I just regained Internet service. For those of  you who don’t know, Utah has an official “Pioneer Day” celebration on the 24th of July every year. So, we are visiting family for the next few days!

If you haven’t already gathered this from my site, I LOVE BOLD COLORS. I love when I see an ultra unique piece of furniture that you cannot buy somewhere in a store. I love it when you readers send me your projects and this one caught my eye the second I opened it.

This dresser redo was done by Bethany over at Dwellings by Devore.

Here is the before picture. (Let me just put in a plug here for all you readers who send me your projects…it is sooo much fun for me to see your transformations. Believe me I know it is hard sometimes to remember, but before and after photos are my favorite!)

Isn’t this teal blue color absolutely stunning! I don’t know what color she used, but maybe she’ll come tell us in the comments!

The detail on the dresser is awesome, and I love all the little ornate carvings in the wood.

Check out her set up….love it!!!!

This hardware makes my stomach flutter. I LOVE this!

Check out the official “after” photo.

I am absolutely in awe of this transformation. I love the wheels on the bottom too. I wish this was in my house. Right. Now. Thank you Bethany for sharing your transformation with me.

Hop on over to her blog and give her some love ?.

  1. I have to say when I first looked at the unfinished piece I was sorta like oooh I hate the hardware {sorry I know you love it lol} I'm just not a big fan of ornate…BUT I LOVE LOVE it with that teal color! The piece looks gorgeous!

  2. I just found your blog and all I can say is "WOW"!! Love love love your blog. I am also supper thrifty and really envy all your di furniture. I'd say your di is a ton better than the one in AZ. I also am a glazeaholic. I glaze every piece I paint. I am so excited I found u. I've seriously been on here all day.. I really look forward to reading your blog..

  3. I love that this is an outdoors piece, how unique! Thanks for sharing!
I'm wondering what types of things you are storing in the drawers?
