It’s time for another All Things Girlie post! Do you want your nails to look spooky for Halloween?
Items needed:
Black craft paint
A few toothpicks
Clear top coat fingernail polish
Orange fingernail polish (or whichever color you choose)
Step 1: Paint your nails whichever color you wish. On my fingernails, I just painted them with a base coat. On my toes, I painted them with orange. I did a few coats to make sure the orange was nice and bright.Make sure your undercoat is completely dry before moving on.
Step 2: Put a small dab of craft paint on a plate or other disposable item.
Step 3: Dip your toothpick into the black craft paint and begin painting your design on your nails. Don’t worry, it does not need to look perfect. I practiced on some paper before I began. In my case, I wanted to create spider webs and a jack-o-lantern design. Make sure you let the design dry completely.
Step 4: Put several layers of clear coat over the design to protect it.
Voila! Your nails are extra spooky for Halloween! š
Disclosure: Painting the design onto the right hand was quite a challenge, so it may be easier to have a friend paint that side for you…unless you are ambidextrous…which I am NOT!
Second Disclosure: Try not to make fun of my short, stubby, un-pedicured toes.
