Designing a room: a few Modern Collages!

Putting together design collages for clients is one of my FAVORITE things to do, and I realized that I haven’t shared many of them here at All Things Thrifty! So, today, I’m going to show you a few of the collages that I have put together.

This modern collage is the inspiration for a bedroom where the client wanted a SIMPLE, serene place to escape the world. It is half decorated at this point, so I will show you a “completed” picture when it is done.

This next collage also had a modern flair, but had more of a traditional spin. This collage was compiled to inspire a few friends about what to do in their bedroom. They wanted “neutrals” with added texture in their room.

The greatest part of designing room for someone else is that I get to compile ideas from all SORTS of styles. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, and it is fun to talk to people about what they want!

What is your design style? Do you use LOTS of color in your decorating like I do in my home? šŸ™‚ Don’t worry, I don’t expect you to have the exact same style as I do…I’m just curious!

  1. My design style? Would probably have to go by Bohemian or Eclectic because it's global traditional shabby chic with a touch of modern and a lot of color šŸ™‚ And quirky to boot. Although I'm still in the process of painting the walls so only a few of our rooms are as colorful as I want them. I think my favorite of your projects is the outdoor wall mural, sooo my style šŸ™‚

  2. Hi! I love your ideas and design style. Our bedroom is painted a very similar blue to your top picture and I have been looking for a hint of grey duvet. Can you tell me where the pic you posted is from? Thanks for you help!
