Cute owl pillow using my Silhouette Machine!

I am in love with the Silhouette Flocked Heat Transfer Material. It was so simple to make my own Owl pillow for the nursery. All I did was choose the image, cut it out on my Silhouette...

Iron it onto my fabric…

…used my “make a pillow cover” tutorial, and voila….an adorable Owl pillow for the baby’s room.

I love making pillows. It is sooo easy, and it saves a TON of money. Plus, if you are like me, and you just HAVE to change your decor every five minutes…ahem….then changing pillows is an easy, thrifty way to do so.

If you missed what the other wall looks like in the baby’s nursery, this is what it looks like.

March Promotion using the code THRIFTY:
-Silhouette SD,
-one of each fabric interfacing (clean cut & sewable), and
-a roll of white flocked heat transfer material
ALL FOR $229.
PLUS, readers that already have a Silhouette can get 25% off fabric interfacing.
The March promotion will run from the 21st through the 27th.

  1. Love it. I have never used a Silhouette before. I only have a cricut machine. I don't know if it does the same things, but it might be fun to find out!!

  2. Your nursery is the cutest ever! How old is your baby now? I am glad to see someone use that Silhouette heat transfer successfully. I hate their vinyl. Haven't tried their heat transfer yet.

I would love for you to stop by my new blog if you get a minute:)

  3. Brooke! So nice to see you getting some craft time. I know how hard that is with all the kids (and that new baby!). I LOVE this pillow, I might just have to get a silhouette. What a great project.

  4. I don't have a Silhouette, but do have a vinyl plotter and I absolutely love the owl on the pillow and on your wall. Do know what the font name is for them. I have been searching for some cute ones to use and haven't had much success. Thanks, Angela
