Pink Furniture is FUN!

I don’t have a ton of time this morning because I’m off to the dentist with my daughter, but I couldn’t wait to show you the result of the pink furniture transformation.

Remember this desk I picked up for $12.00!?!?

It now looks like this!

It will be going into my daughter’s room. Stay tuned for pictures of it in the room! Hope you all had a great weekend! Loves. Wish me luck at the dentist!

  1. I found a dresser of that same vintage and painted it with outdoor plastic paint. (Because of the formica like top.) It scratched in one little spot, but really has held up well. I painted mine a creamy color about 5 years ago. It's going strong. :o)

    I hope you enjoy it!

  2. $12 is a steal! I saw 2 dressers to match this at a garage sale last week and they wanted $150 for the set…unpainted! CRAZY!!! Love the pink! Is it a spray paint???

  3. I just got the matching dresser and vanity for this desk for free over the weekend!! This refashion totally inspires me for ideas on repainting them!! thanks!!

  4. Hi! This is Jake from Restoration Furniture, now Dusty Gem Decor. I want to let our followers know that in order to make things easier, we brothers have decided to have two seperate websites. Restoration Furniture will be doing summer sales and will try to continue to post items for sale as well as provide custom refinishing for customers. Dusty Gem Decor is based on the same principles as Restoration Furniture. They too will post items for sale and offer refinishing for customers. Become a follower and have a chance to win a prize in our next give away. Tell your friends. Thanks!

  5. Whats the name of this pink color? I LOVE IT!!! Where did you get it? You are so crafty, great job.

  6. Nice- I'd have a hard time pulling that off with all boys in the house. In a future post can you share more about transforming the hardware too. It looks like you just painted it. Mine NEVER turns out that nice, so now I fear the hardware! Thanks šŸ™‚

  7. I still have this desk, dresser, nightstand and bookcase top either the desk or dresser. Would you believe I've had them since the 1960's? Need to repaint and love the tips you gave as it does have a plastic/formica type top (thats in great condition).
