Flag Stone Pathway = Barefoot Brooke!

IF you know me, you know that I am kind of a freak when it comes to putting on shoes. I rarely have shoes on. I prefer bare feet. So, when my cute hubby finished our flag stone pathway in our backyard, I was in HEAVEN because I no longer have to remember to put shoes on when I go outside. I can walk across our rocks and have a perfectly soft pathway to walk on. Didn't he do a FANTASTIC job?!?!?

I'm pretty sure I owe my husband my left leg after all the work he has done in my backyard. It was only a few months ago that our backyard was only DIRT! He has worked his tail off. In fact, he works his tail off all day at his full-time job, and then he comes home and works here too. What a hunk. I appreciate him. Because of him my kids have an oasis in their backyard. It's pretty much "kid heaven" back there. He enjoys working outside (luckily). In fact, if I mow the lawn, I get in trouble because he WANTS to do it!

I will be showing my entire backyard as soon as I can get my butt in gear and take pictures of the finished product. I still have some projects in mind for back there, but since it is over 100 degrees here in St. George, Utah for the next two months, our projects will have to take a break for a bit. :)

okay so i'm a never a debby downer but we just had a little boy get trapped under a dug in tramp after a huge rain storm :( (see article here:http://detroit.cbslocal.com/2011/06/01/toddler-found-floating-in-water-under-trampoline/) I hope this doesn't come across mean or snoody by any means. I honestly would have thought about the dangers if this little boy didn't almost lost his life.
