Euro Treasures Antique store in Salt Lake City (Antiques ON STEROIDS)!!!

To make a long story short, the other day, my friend Mandi from Vintage Revivals told me about this antique store. She explained it to me, and showed me a few pictures. I about fell off my chair.

So, I said. LET’S GO to THAT STORE!!! So, we did. The end. Just kidding.

Well after we went, Mandi and I agreed that we needed to share this little secret with our readers. But, we need to prepare you first. You. are. going. to. DIE. at. the. amazingness. of. this. store.

The first thing you need to realize before going to this store is that you will not just walk in, scan the place, and walk out in a five minute time period (like we do at thrift stores). You will need at least two-three hours to experience this bad boy. No joke, peeps. You need to schedule some T.I.M.E. for this.

Also, you need to realize that this place is NOT a thrift store. Some of the furniture in this place costs and is worth THOUSANDS of dollars. Just remember that before you go. Go for the experience, and check out the blogger bargain bin.

Scott, the owner, has agreed to price a bunch of items at $200.00 or less as part of the BLOGGER BARGAIN BIN. Just for you. Yep, just because you know me (and Mandi).

Just check out some of the pictures of this place:

It’s a great place to find a chair, or a THOUSAND.

Or an armoire, or a HUNDRED.

Or, if you are looking for a gigantic LION, this is the place to go. RAAAAAAARRRRRR. Actually, there is also a Rhino, but I don’t have a picture!

There are aisles, and aisles of this peeps.

But even the pictures don’t do it justice. So, we videoed it for you!

Now do you believe me!?!? It’s ok. I’m one of those “have to see it for myself types” too.

So, in case you are wondering what is in the BLOGGER BARGAIN BIN, here are a few examples.

This chair is dying to be painted!

I think these would be awesome with the right fabric.

Thanks Mandi for letting me steal a few pictures.

This credenza is only $200.00

I wish I lived closer to be there when you experience it. If you go this Friday or Saturday, you “MIGHT” just run into me, I will be in town doing Good Things Utah on Friday.

This is the furniture piece that gives me insomnia. I. CAN’T. STOP.  THINKING. ABOUT. IT. It is $6,000 though! šŸ™‚ But, it inspires me and inspiration is priceless!

Thank you Mandi for sharing this with me, and listening to me swear  ramble while we walked through the store.

ITEMS TO REMEMBER:
*Take a friend or two. You will need someone to share the experience with.

*FIND Scott and tell him you are here for the BLOGGER BARGAINS. He can point you in the right direction. If you don’t do this, you will fall in love with something that costs $6,000 (like I did).

*Experience the entire store for fun.

*Prepare yourself to be overwhelmed.

*The store is located off the 600 S. Off ramp of I-15.

FYI:
I was bummed to find out that this amazing piece was already SOLD! Lameness.

But as I walked around the store, I forgot about that piece because I found a thousand others that I wanted just as bad. Check out this table.

I can’t wait to go to this store again. The Hubsters is coming next time. He was dying at all the pictures.

Oh, and don’t forget to go check out Mandi’s post about the store too!

*I was not paid a penny to share this info with you. FYI.

  1. UTAH has the best places! I live in NYC and we have a place similar to this called United Home Wreckers in CT. I haven't been in a while but it is also awesome! There is another place called ABC Carpet and Home in NYC proper but it is overpriced because all the designers and decorators shop there with rich people money! lol!

  2. After our GNO and Mandi raved about some new place we had to go to I got directions from her how to get there and I went while I was in SLC. It was totally freakin incredible!! I didn't however have two hours look around but as I did I drooled and I actually did take a picture of the rhino! I'll be going again. This time I'm takin' a truck!!!

  3. Those are some amazing finds! I love what you do with furniture, and have really been impressed with so much of your work. Sometimes though, when I am surfing the internet and see before and after furniture redo's, it breaks my heart to see so many of these beautiful (and valuable) antiques stripped of their original finish and painted a trendy bright color. There are some things that should definitely never be refinished, and I just hope people (not necessarily you) can understand that and tell the difference.

  4. I wish I lived closer to go there too! I LOVE that yellow mantle or whatever it was that was already sold!!! Looks like you guys had a good time! šŸ™‚

    I'm totally JEALOUS!

  8. Wish i was closer to UTAH to check this place out!!!! Any recommendations for Illinois? I am sure we have some good places but I haven't found them yet. I have to avoid the Chicago area becaue they already price things so HIGH … it's not fun to even look šŸ™

  9. I didn’t find this store enchanting. First of all the stuff here is a bunch of garbage, more like euro trash than antiques. Also the staff at this store should be fired and if he is the owner he should go into a different line of work. I was looking through the store when this fat guy sitting at a desk up front came over to me and said “can I help you find anything?” I politely declined and said I was just looking. So far so good, until he said “I don’t like your attitude?” All I had said was “no thanks I’m looking.” After this he said “get out of here before I call the cops or something bad is going to happen to you.” I was shocked, and wondering if the guy was serious. I think he must of missed his bipolar medication or an anger management class or something. I would not recommend anyone go to this store unless they want to be threatened by the staff.
