Fours reasons to CELEBRATE!!!

#1: School starts Monday! Maybe I can actually get something done around here! Am I a bad Mom for being excited for this?!? I have two kiddos in all day school this year! Yipeee skippy.

#2: All Things Thrifty is TWO years old!!! What the heck? Time has FLOWN by. All Things Thrifty is getting a MAKEOVER! I can’t wait to unveil the new look. She is going to look much skinnier and beautimus. Ha ha. How can a blog look skinnier, you ask? I have no idea. I just know that I look better when I’m skinnier. BAHAHA.

#3: I am turning 30 (ahem I mean 29 again) in a week or two. I. am. having. a. hard. time. Be nice to me. Tell me I look young when you see me next um,kay!??!

#4: Creed is almost SEVEN months old! I cannot believe it. He is a chuncky monkey too! I have to show you a picture. He is the cutest baby in the world. I am a little biased though. He is teething, and life is disrupted a bit. Having a fourth kid has kicked my trash. How do you Moms DO IT!?!?

Are you excited about my celebrations!?!

  1. You are not alone in celebrating the beginning of school. Both of mine will be in school all day this year. šŸ™‚ And 30 was hard for me. But this year…31 was easy. Congrats on your anniversary and that beautiful little baby boy!

  2. Feel happy, I turn 39 next Wednesday! Creed is freaking adorable – Love them chubby cheeks, miss those on my boy, he's 5 now and starts K on monday – eeek!

  3. I am celebrating having 3 in school all day and 1 in preschool. Seriously, how have i survived summer. I'm 43 this year and yes having a fourth baby definitely kicked my trash too. Being creative, sewing, crafting, going to The Creative Connection in the fall. Seeing those happy faces everyday. We are such lucky mommies. Contests. On your 2 year blog bday.

  5. Hey girls!! 30 is YOUNG!!! Don't fear your thirties! EMBRACE them. I grew up in Utah, and I thought turning 30 would be horrible too, but I moved out of state when I was 29 and discovered that 30 is young, 30 is wonderful. Being in your thirties means you have a little bit of real-life experience under your belt! By the time my 30th birthday rolled around, I was ready to kiss my 20ies good-bye and embrace my 30ies! It is "so Utah" to think that 30 is old. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Utah, but I am glad my perspective changed before I reached 30.
And thanks for such an awesome blog!

  6. I say it's not how old you are but how old you feel that matters…and so with 4 kids I feel 80 somedays and other days I feel 18 šŸ™‚ Love your blog and can't wait to see the new updates!! Keep up your great work!

  7. oh gosh i haven't seen a pic of Creed in a while – WHAT a cutie pie!!!!!!!!!! gorgeous! And don't worry, your permanent 29th birthday is an awakening, I'm not kidding. Most women will tell you that. Not that you won't have stress, but you will see the world differently after your 2nd year of being 29. And congrats, with that lovely family, you've got the brass ring!!

  8. Wow, you're amazing. I have 2 kids, the youngest is 8 months, and I'm having a rough time of it. I don't know if I could do 4! Happy birthday in a week or two!

  9. Congratulations on all those exciting things! I'm the second of 6 kids, and my mom has always said that having 4 kids was the most difficult – after that it was easy 'cuz us older ones were able to help out with the younger ones! Haha.

  10. I love your celebrations!! Congrats on turning 2 that will be a big number. Your little guy is adorable. I have only two little boys the oldest is 3 and the youngest is 9 months. You are a rock star being a Mama of 4 and being able to do all of these fun projects and being able to share it all with us. I look up to you good work and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

  11. Creed is beautiful! And so are you! I just turned 30 this year (Feb) and it is awesome! Just think of all you've accomplished. Embrace it. You can't change it so just own it, baby! Thanks for all the great ideas and inspiration. I also just had my 4th kid last year and it is not for wimps. Hang in there. All the rest of us are barely hanging on, too.

  12. First of all, you are SOO freakin' cute! I love your hair, glasses rock… ahh I could go on. Turning 30 is awesome – I did it 4 years ago, and my husband has yet to join me in the "30's" club. Yup, thats right. Go gnaw on that one! lol. ANYway, my munchkin is 9mos old and boy #2 started Kindergarten this week. Bittersweet about both of those milestones. I started working out to cope šŸ˜‰ I'm going extreme. haha

  13. You can call me and I will tell you how it feels to be 30. Remember I will have experienced it for one whole day before you. Creed is adorable. You are fabulous and I miss you. Love you cousin. Talk to you soon.

  14. I turned 30 this year. Welcome to the club! It's not so bad as long as you don't think about it too much. Haha… And you've accomplished a ton with your life already, so just imagine how great your 30s are going to be!

  18. I have my oldest going into first grade this year and am excited too LoL So fear not- you're a great normal mom! And I would have pegged you at 25 btw! I turned 27 this year and that was weird! Don't worry though, you're thirty, thrifty, and thriving!

Enjoy them all, I also turned 30 this year and before the day got here I thought it would be sad, but now I am 30 and people always say, "what, you are only 30, your just a baby". It is better than being 29 because everyone says "oh, again". Your blog is awsome and your children a beautiful. !!!!Congratulations!!!!
