Master Bedroom Good Mood Board

I was thrilled when Cassity from Remodelaholic asked me to participate in the Good Mood Master Bedroom event.

Basically she asked several bloggers to create a good mood board and design a master bedroom over at Olioboard. I am not going to lie. This was one of the most fun events I have ever been asked to participate in. I am a obsessed with decorating. I love it. I could spend all day doing it.

Today, I created a room with some colorful turquoise, white, gray and green combinations. I’m telling ya, creating room design plans might be my favorite thing to do.

I hope you like it! šŸ™‚

If you have been here at All Things Thrifty for awhile, you know that mismatched rooms are my VERY favorite. I love to create spaces that showcase unique items, so the mood board that I created for this event showcases my style.

I also tend to have A.D.D. and change my decor a lot around here. So, making a board over at olioboard.com was pretty fun. It kind of makes me want to re-decorate. Oh wait, I kind of never stop re-decorating. (My hubby can attest to that!)

I will stop rambling. Here is my board. If you would like to see the entire board, go HERE.

It has been really fun to see the mood boards created by the other amazing bloggers involved in this series.

  1. Beautiful job, Brooke! That's actually one of my favorite color combinations right now too (doing a more subtle combo in our kitchen). I love the mirror arrangement – so unique and pretty!

  2. I may be a little prejudice but YOURS ROCKED THE ENTIRE EVENT!! I used olioboard to do my neices rooms. It helped them to see an idea I had in my head. LOVE IT! and what a fun idea for the mega talented blogger decorators!

  3. This is so great! I love those colors too! I love how the room seems so just pop!

That arrangement of hand mirrors is really cool, it would be a fun way to show off special pieces!

I agree about playing in Olioboard, I think I am going to be a lot more decorating obsessed for a while!

I am SO glad you participated! I hope you will want to join us again next time!

  4. You had me at aqua. That headboard is devine. I have had the same one for going on ten years. Maybe I should splurge? The white, aqua & lime combo has just enough interest, while still being soothing for a bedroom. Fab room =)

  5. Oh my goodness this rocks! I love the design… it's like you jumped into my head and did exactly what I wanted!! I have been collecting antique hand mirrors and brushes to hang on a wall… LOVE how this looks in yours. I also have been debating on hanging a mirror over each end table. I have two ornate antique mirrors that are similar but not the same. After seeing this I think you confirmed it… I am hanging them tonight!!! LOVE this:) You did an amazing job!

  6. Hi Brooke,
I am excited to try the Olioboard for some of my work clients. Thanks for sharing.

  7. I don't know how I didn't put 2+2 together! I'm so glad it was mentioned today that this is your blog!! šŸ™‚ I'm not all that observant sometimes….

But seriously, I LOVE your blog and have used your ideas multiple times. Every time I spend time searching your blog it makes me want to hire you…my house looks as bare as it did when we bought it (2 years ago!!).

  8. Master bedroom is the center of attraction of the entire house so, it should be properly designed. Here I like the color and the arrangements. It looks beautiful. But I think in place of those multiple number of mirrors if a single large mirror will be used it will look more beautiful.
