25 Soup Recipes for the Winter!

It’s soup season my friends! And who doesn’t love a recipe that requires minimal work AND you just throw everything into a pot? This busy Momma does! Ha!

I had a neighborhood party this week, and my assignment was to make SOUP! I have a few trusty soup recipes, but I was in the mood to try something new. These are the 25 soups that caught my eye. This list has some personal favorites as well as some new ones that I can’t wait to try out!

24. French Onion Soup Closet Cooking

Making the decision of which soup to make was tough, but since I am obsessed with the Zuppas Wisconsin Cheddar soup, that’s the one I made!
I altered it a bit after it was done to contain a lot more pepper-jack cheese, more mustard and more salt. It was too bland for my taste before those additions.

After the alterations, it was delicious. In fact, it was a hit at the neighborhood party. I had to laugh though because I overheard someone saying, “It looks like baby food, but it tastes good.” So, if you want it to be a thinner consistency, you may want to add more chicken stock.
Have you made any of the above soups? If you have I would love to know which ones you love!

  1. I just told Amy at The Idea Room that I really don't need another fudge recipe, but hers made me believe I did. You soup round up is doing the same thing for me. I have many soup recipes, but there's always room for more! Right? Thanks for taking the time to put them all in one place. We'll be trying one soon.

  2. Amy is definitely trustworthy on her recipes. She is one of my favorites on and off her blog!!

  3. Thank you so much for sharing my beef stew recipe! I originally didn't notice the ping back given this is from a Sunday Supper recipe post. Some other great recipes here too. Thanks for the inclusion.

Sorry but I also can't figure out how to leave a comment without linking to a super old/never really used Blogger ID.

  4. I just found this while I was looking at stats. Thank you so much for including my soup in your round up and I am dying to try a few of these you shared. It's definitely soup weather here with snow still on the ground. Thank you for sharing!
