Behind the scenes at All Things Thrifty

Eric from Backstage Pass, is a great friend who asked me if he could come and film a “real” day in our lives. On Saturday we were doing projects as always, and we invited him into our home to experience our craziness first hand. So, I hope you enjoy! Beware of the sass of Londyn our 5 year old.
xoxo, Happy Wednesday!!

  1. AHHHH! This makes me miss your face so much! I love the kitchen transformation. Wow, it really brightens up that space so much! I was dying though when he was painting over the stencil. Haha! Really fantastic light idea too…might want to steal that! Enjoyed getting a glimpse of the kiddos…and the dog so calmly sleeping! LOL!

  3. It was so great to see the aspects of your home from the blog in real time!! The paint color is beautiful, I was sad to see you stencil by the pantry go. I feel like I may be paying too close attention to your house–I noticed your cute new basket lights and thought “I haven’t seen that before!”

Thanks for posting the video, it was a lot of fun to watch!

  4. Hello! I’m more of a “lurker” than a commenter, but I just had to let you know this video was really cool! I follow several DIY blogs and it is great to get the “backstage pass”! Good job on the paint choice!! It is beautiful!!

  5. I’m more of a “lurker” too- but I’ve got to say that seeing into a home where there is mess and construction and husbands šŸ™‚ and so much creativity really makes what you do so much more attainable for regular old me! Good job!

  6. You are adorable!!! And I almost died when he painted over that stencil…..I just got done painting our bedroom and I had a stencil in my mind to do also but will need at least a months break before we tackle that. I think I have painters arthritis.

    The blue looks beautiful!

And thanks to Court for giving you the idea to start your blog. I’ve learned a ton from you both! Next up, HGTV!
