Summer Adventure Bucket + Printable {from Mique from Thirty Handmade Days}

Hi All Things Thrifty friends! I’m Mique from Thirty Handmade Days and the Queen Bee Market. I’m so happy to be here today to share a simple little idea to kick off summer.

It’s hard to believe that summer is just around the corner! Pretty soon my three kids will be out of school and we’ll have a couple of months to sleep in (ha! I hope!) and have some fun. I was at the store recently and saw a sand bucket and some other things that I thought would be perfect to welcome summer. I gathered a jump rope, tube of bubbles, sidewalk chalk and some treats and stuck them in the sand bucket.

How fun would this be to have waiting for your kids on the last day of school? I know my kids would love it!
I created a little tag to attach to the bucket. You could write something on the tag like “To: Drew, Love: Mom” but I just kept it generic. You could also attach this tag to an end of school teacher gift or whatever else your heart desires.
You can download a single tag or a sheet of tags. For personal use only please. Thank you! Cut around the tag, use a hole punch and attach with a cute ribbon. Tada!

I have some other fun printables and kids ideas like this one:

I hope you have a rad summer! Stop by and say hi over at 30days.

  1. I noticed you closed the comments on the giveaway post so I couldn’t ask there. Any news on the winners? It has been 5 days since Monday (expected announcement day) and we’re all anxious to find out who won! Thank you for offering the giveaway on your blog and I know that you are only the messenger, but it would really be cool to find out what’s happening! Thanks!
