Bubblegum Frozen Yogurt

Hi everyone!!! I’m Gina from Kleinworth & Co. where I share crafts, projects for the home, photography tips & lots of yummy recipes. I’m so thrilled to be here in Brooke’s beautiful space today. I met Brooke at SNAP! Conference & I can tell you that she’s AMAZING! We had so much fun & I could have chatted with her for days. Since sharing recipes is what I love to do most on Kleinworth & Co., I thought I would bring you one of our family favorites- Bubblegum Frozen Yogurt.

You know that nostalgic flavor of bubblegum ice cream.

It brings back so many great memories from childhood.

When I was really little my mom worked at Baskin Robbins. She became close friends with the owner of the location she worked at. Years later, when she no longer worked there we would stop in to visit every so often. When we would go in the summer- we would always get a couple scoops of bubblegum ice cream.

Well-as much as I love to indulge with ice cream on occasion – I try to choose slightly healthier options for my treats if I can. So I end up making a whole lot of frozen yogurt during the summer months. It’s not something I should be having every day, but still gives me that feeling of indulgence (like ice cream) with a little less guilt. This particular flavor is so yummy too!

The thing I like most about this is how easy it is to make. Just add all your ingredients to the mixer & whip for a couple minutes. Then transfer to an airtight container & freeze for a couple hours. No churning – so simple. Can’t beat that!

Ingredients
1 -32 oz container low fat vanilla yogurt
1 – pkt low fat French vanilla pudding mix
2 tsp bubblegum flavoring – if your bubblegum flavoring isn’t pink- you will also need a couple drops food coloring
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
½ cup low fat milk (2%)
Gumballs for topping if desired

To Make…
Combine all ingredients except gumballs into mixer bowl & whip for approximately 60-90 seconds, or until ingredients have combined.
Transfer to airtight container & freeze several hours – or until hardened to desired consistency.
Enjoy!

  1. Brooke! I wasn’t going to say anything because I don’t want to hurt your feelings… But what the heck is going on with your blog?! It’s been taken over by contributors! I check in here just about every day and it’s been so disappointing that you are no longer here. Are you just burnt out? Quitting? On vacation? Let us know! I know I’m not alone in saying I love YOUR blog and miss YOU! Come back! Give your contributors a break for a while, if you can. I get that you are a real person with lots going on and maybe you cannot keep up with the blog and projects! If it’s time to slow down, then great! Just let us know what’s going on with your blog! Thanks for being awesome and for everything you have done!

    1. Emily,
I’m sorry it’s taken me a few days to respond. I’ve been contemplating your comment, and I wanted to have my thoughts gathered before I responded. Let me first start with saying thank you for your comment. You had the guts to say what others may be thinking, and I am grateful for the chance to respond. I am not quitting, but at times keeping fresh content on the blog is challenging. Plus, I remember when I started All Things Thrifty five years ago, and how amazing it was to get featured on other blogs. So, I decided to try having contributors. Does that mean that it will be perfect? No. But, there are amazing, talented bloggers out there that I have hand-picked for my contributors. I know that you come to All Things Thrifty for me, and that makes me feel good. But, sometimes it makes me feel selfish when it’s all about “me.” Does that make sense? Feel free to email me if you want to discuss things further. I’d be happy to chat more. xoxo, Brooke

  2. Brooke just wanted to say I was wondering the same thing about your contributors and hoped that everything was ok! We just started blogging and I already struggle with content (keep it exciting, where am I going with this, is this working out like I planned….I’m sure you understand!) you are giving people some great exposure and that’s so classy of you! Hope to meet you in person some day.

    Xo Tracy
