Guest Room Part 2 : Color Scheming and feel of the room.

The guest room is torn to shreds at the moment. Good times. In fact, it’s spilling over into my safe haven office.

Dear guests, you can’t come for a few more days or you will not have a place to stay. But sometimes things have to get much worse before they get better, right?!?

The color scheme for this room is grounded with several shades of grey and accents will be a grassy green, a small splash of coral, and a few black and white punches.

The feel for the room is RELAXATION!

I designed some cute artwork to use in the room: Which one do you like the best?

I want it to be a fun space that feels welcoming and relaxing.

Which one makes you happiest?

  1. “Put your feet up and stay a while,” definitely. I always strive to have a home that is very welcoming to overnight guests since I live so far from where I grew up. It sounds like you want people to feel loved and comfortable, and I think that says it perfectly. I’d love to have that framed in my own living room!
