A Storage Container turned into a CABIN!?!

I am ecstatic to show you what I’ve been working on! A few days ago I gave a tiny hint to what I’ve been doing lately by posting this cute {and free} printable about the mountains. šŸ™‚ I’m ready to unveil the project!!

A friend of mine called me and asked if I wanted to help design a tiny cabin, and I was instantly ALL in. I could not wait to get started. I knew very little of the project, but I had some fun ideas.

She introduced me to the project. Please let me introduce you to the cabin…

Yep. It’s a CONTAINER cabin!

I know you have seen steel storage containers, right!?! Well, did you know that they are customizable? Before a few months ago, I had no idea what this tiny storage container was in for. Containers can have doors, porches, windows, pitched roofs, bathrooms, and more!

I knew that anything could be transformed, and I was a believer from the start. The container is only 20 feet long and 8 feet wide. The front porch area is 3 feet deep, so the inside is 17 feet deep after the porch area is subtracted.

I love that the container doors are fully functioning and can lock the cabin up tight whenever you leave. The windows can even have lock shutters.

The workers rocked on this project, and I am not going to sugar coat it guys, I WANT ONE now.

Insulation2

The container is now insulated, wired with solar electricity, has an A/C/Heat unit, and has a darling kitchen, a fridge, a stovetop, a bed, a dining room, and is the cutest little cabin you have ever seen.

Come back tomorrow to see the new Kustom Cozy Cabin. You will love it!
