Colorful Cottage Farmhouse {Introducing Stacia’s House!}

I have the best job in the whole world. Decorating doesn’t even FEEL like a job to me. It feels like a trick sometimes. Wait, you want to pay me to go shopping for your house!?! Hmmmm, let me think about that for .2 seconds, yes. ok. I’ll do it.

Stacia and Taylor are good friends of ours, and they asked me to help them decorate their new home. You will DIE at how amazing their home was before I even started! Stacia made such good choices!

Today I went in for just a few minutes to add some greenery, and it’s amazing how much small things can add to a home right off the bat. It is already looking soooo stinkin’ cute. Just wait until I show you the SHELVES!!! Don’t worry it won’t be long. I’m thinking I’ll get to show you those on Monday. šŸ™‚

But for now, take a look at their dining area before we added anything. Hmmmm don’t you just want to move in? It’s the most beautiful blank slate ever! The walls are worldly gray by Sherwin Williams, in case you are wondering. šŸ™‚

I painted the little blue cabinet with Rustoleum’s Serenity Blue Chalked paint, and the grey stand up cabinet with Rustoleum’s Country Grey Chalked paint. Both of those pieces of furniture were deep red before.

Today, I added some plants, and a few accessories, and it’s already feeling more alive! Just look at those ceilings! I told you Stacia made great choices.

The BHG products at Walmart are super inexpensive, but soooo cute! The BHG Teal Planter Pots were only around $15, the hexagon planter {that I planted succulents in} was only around $13, and the darling White Plant Stand was less than $50!

The BHG Brass lamp was only around $18, and every time I go to Walmart, they have new products to look at. I love it.

Plus the table needed a little love, so we added this fun BHG table runner to add a splash of color. Colorful Cottage Farmhouse-9

Are you obsessed with succulents and cacti like I am? If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I just made some cacti art, that I’m obsessed with! I gave a sneak peek over there if you want to check it  out.

The BHG garden stool is so cute, and was right around $48. I couldn’t find it on their website {darn it}, but if you go out to the garden area, you should be able to find them. They have two options, a green version and a white one. Colorful Cottage Farmhouse-13

Should we all move in? {Hand raising high!}
