“Chews” to be a leader free printable.

Hi friends. How is summer going? I won’t lie, it’s kinda kicking my toosh. Having all the kids home all day has taken some adjusting for all of us. Every single year it only takes a few weeks before I have a massive break down about summer. But somehow I always forget about that. It takes me by surprise every year. I wish I was the mom who enjoyed all the chaos, but I’m just not. After a few weeks of the kids home for summer, keeping the house clean, and getting all the things done around here is just impossible. Then, I cry a lot. Then my husband reminds me that this happens every year, we adjust, and everything is fine in the world again.

Today I taught a Relief Society lesson about leadership. The lesson was based on this talk about how the greatest leaders are always the greatest followers, and that Christ was the greatest leader AND the greatest follower. He followed His father perfectly. I loved learning about Christ’s leadership attributes, and it reminded me just how much His example has created a domino effect in this world.

He lead by example, with love, meekness, humility, long-suffering, and unity. He sees the potential in us and looks past our shortcomings. Let us go forward and see the potential in others and overlook their shortcomings also.

Let’s have an extraordinary week and try harder to see others the way Christ sees us.

I made these cute handouts to go with a Hi-Chew candy. Click HERE for the free printables.

  1. Hi Brooke,
Were you writing this post to me? As I am a day or two older than you I have realized something about stages repeating themselves over and over again. The Lord is a great leader to follow. I believe the transitions we go through in life, from birth to new life are lessons helping us grow in faith. Maybe that is why I think I will never grow-up? LOL I must have a lot to learn…… May your summer be blessed with happy, fun, giggling chaos.
    Happy Creating Luv,
    Karen Marie
