Jo’s Living Room: Navy, Pink, Gold, Grey, and White!

Hi friends! I introduced you to Jo’s new house a few days ago, and we are already revealing her first room makeover.  She and I have had too much fun decorating and her husband is probably realllllly sick of me by now. But, I’m a firm believer in loving your home. When she moved in, they had a lot of work on their hands. 

When they bought it, the house was tan with beige carpet everywhere. 

To update the look of the house, they started by ripping out the carpet, installing Quick•Step laminate flooring, and painting the ENTIRE house in Sherwin Williams “Repose Gray.” It looks amazing, and it reminded me just how much paint can really change the feel and look of a home. 

The paint and flooring make THE BIGGEST difference, don’t you think!?!

But of course we couldn’t stop there. The best part about Better Homes and Gardens products at Walmart is the convenience of not needing to stop at another store. I head there for yogurt, and come back with the CUTEST lamps ever. My hubby may not appreciate that, but I sure do. 🙂 

We used the same rug that Jo had in her last house, and it looks so perfect with her new pink, navy, and gold color scheme. 

 

 

We bought a few white bowls from the Better Homes and Gardens line sold exclusively at Walmart and planted some greenery in them to add a little punch of nature.  Plus, butter mints in a canister adds a punch of color and now she can offer her guests a little treat. 

Frames from the Better Homes and Gardens line are my favorite, and you can find them throughout the space! 

Jo got the navy blue chairs for FREE from our friend Jessica at Pretty Providence. What a great friend! Plus, the gold and white bolster adds a little pizzaz for less than $14.

I love how cute it all turned out! 

I love all the little details, and everything was pretty darn inexpensive too!
