Natural and Neutral Nursery Decor

As part of my life, I get to help my friends do REALLY fun things! Meet Jamie Webster. Actually, meet the entire Webster family. We love them all. Webster Fam

Jamie just had her fifth baby, and because that deserves a round of applause in itself, I wanted to give her a little somethin’ somethin’ to help her feel special. In fact, that’s kinda my favorite part of my blogger job right now. I got to help my bff Jo in her house too. I LOVE IT!

Jamie’s style is ALL NEUTRAL! So, because I’m a color-loving gal, I had a lot of fun decorating in a style that I would never actually do in my own house.

I love it in an on-looker, magazine-pages, kind of way, but when it comes down to it, I always lean to bright colored decor in my life. So, I LOVED getting to do something outside of my comfort zone.

 We used, all different sheens of metallics in Samson’s room. We used whites, linens, greys and different wood tones. I love mismatched tones, and I honestly don’t think things should be too matchy-matchy.

The cute “You are my Sunshine” pendant flags are original art pieces from yours truly that I collaborated with a friend on. I used my Silhouette machine and iron on transfer to make the words I even cut the frames myself out of 1X2s. #proudwoodworkingmoment

I also made the wooden art piece above Sammy’s crib out of old barn wood. My friend Natasha from 302 woodworks cut the horse for me.

Jamie bought the grey curtains from HomeGoods, and the gray crib bedding was on clearance from Pottery Barn {it’s similar to this set.}

The darling rocker chair is from DownEast and it’s called the Allyson Rocker.

The soft white rug is from HomeGoods.

And most of the accents were also from our great friends at HomeGoods. In full disclosure, we don’t have many other stores to shop at here in St. George, Utah, but I’m ok with that because HomeGoods comes through for me on a regular basis. #anodetoHomeGoods

Jamie loves horses, and she even minored in horse training while attending college many years ago, so we decided that horses would be such a fun decor accent for Sammy’s nursery.

 My goal, which I’m not sure if I ever even told Jamie this, was to create a little calm safe-haven in Sammie’s room. I hope she enjoys it. It sure is fun to look at!
