I temporarily lined the inside with a .97 cent Waverly fat quarter fabric piece.

You could Modge Podge it inside for a permanent washable surface.

  1. Hairspray painting technique looks perfect! I’m new to spray painting to upcycled furniture and I don’t ever feel like it looks as good as yours and some other people, as they seem to produce final results much better than mine. I’ll have to practice a little bit and I’m sure it will get better as time goes by. Currently I’m spray painting a king-size headboard I got for $10. And I figured if I really didn’t like how it turned out, I could just redo it. However I’ve just done the back at this time and then I’ll spray the front I figured I’d do the back first and make some of my initial mistakes there and go on to hopefully improve. The little desk is cute and I was wondering if you used anything to seal it or if you just left it as it is?
