How to jazz up your front door

Now that I’m looking at these pictures, I’m realizing that my wreath is looking dry and sad. So if you see a DARLING wreath out there that could compete with my lima bean wreath, send it my way. I loved that darn lima bean wreath and it broke. Maybe I should just make it again! I’ve been trying to achieve THAT level of cuteness ever since it broke.
I am definitely in a chatty mood today.
I do love my painted front door. After all, painting over my UGLY front door was a long time coming. I had meant to paint the darn thing for three years. {EMBARRASSING}. But, I saw the cutest idea from Ginger Snap Crafts who was originally inspired by Jonny in a Dress.
This fun simple “hello” added just the touch I was looking for! My brother in law thinks I should put a “goodbye” on the back of the door so that when you leave you see that too! I just might have to do that.
I used navy vinyl and cut it out in two seconds with my amazing Silhouette CAMEO machine. I use my CAMEO all the time.

  1. OH OH OH – use the CAMEO and make a bunch of fabric flowers for a wreath…. in a FABU color ensamble… I saw they have multi layered ones….. and different types….. 😀 -that would be neat-o 🙂

  2. I am sorry if I missed this somewhere else but what color and brand paint is that? It looks like pretty much the perfect color for my front door! Thanks so much 🙂
