Brazilian Frosting Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cans Milk {Whole if you have it}
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 3/4 cups of Chocolate Chips
  • 1 can Cream

Instructions

  1. Dump the Sweetened Condensed Milk into a medium pot
  2. Use the empty can to measure two cans of milk into a separate bowl.
  3. Add 1/2 cup cornstarch into the milk and stir to dissolve thoroughly with a whisk.
  4. Once the cornstarch is dissolved in the milk, add it to the sweetened condensed milk and warm on medium heat while stirring constantly until it thickens. {Use a whisk so that the cornstarch doesn't ball up}.
  5. After the mixture thickens up, remove it from the heat and add the cream and chocolate.
  6. Stir with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is melted and the cream is mixed in.
  7. Pour over your cooled cake and spread.
  8. Cool completely in the fridge before eating.
