2014 Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza

We are sleep deprived and exhausted, but the pumpkins were a huge hit!  I took a short video of the crowd just to document the craziness. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us again this year! It is a fun tradition and our kids LOVE it! So without further adieu, check out our 2014 carvings! Which one do you like best?

Our Frozen pumpkins were a hit! The shaded Elsa and Anna took about 4 hours each to carve. To see the process of shading a pumpkin, see our shading instruction post.

I wish that pictures did the display justice, but it just doesn’t!  I had so many people say that this was their first year in person and they were blown away. If you are nearby, you should mark your calendars now! Halloween is very fun around these parts!

Dan soaks toilet paper in kerosene overnight and lights them to create these flaming pumpkins. Warning: don’t try this at home.

The pumpkins span across our entire front yard!
