Pink Lamp, Yellow Barn Light, and Red Lantern Spray Paint Projects!

This post is sponsored by Rust-Oleum. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of my favorite things about a spray paint project is the fact that you can add character and color to a space without breaking the bank! Plus, most spray paint projects can be easily completed in an hour.

Rust-Oleum has announced their 2019 Color Watch, and these three spray paint projects demonstrate how easy it is to add some fun trendy colors to your home. Today I’ll be discussing Pink Peony, Tuscan Sun, and Fire Red, but stay tuned for more projects coming up with the other trend colors! For additional inspirational project ideas, visit rustoleum.com/color-watch.

These three spray paint projects took less than one can of spray paint, less than an hour to complete,  and all cost less than $34/each.

An easy way to add a little color to a bedroom is to spray paint a table lamp. In this case, a strip of Frog Tape helped create the perfect stripe of 2X Pink Peony to add a subtle and pretty touch to the bedside. I found this lamp at Homegoods for $29.

Two coats of Pink Peony about 15 minutes apart was all the lamp took to transform.  Make sure you remove the tape while the paint is still wet, and then let the lamp dry completely before handling.

The pink stripe is subtle, but it’s the perfect feminine touch to my daughter Oaklyn’s bedroom.

The next project is a vintage-style barn lamp. I found the lamp at Home Depot for $33, and Stops Rust Tuscan Sun was the perfect bright yellow for this project.

I applied two coats about 20 minutes apart to obtain perfect coverage. Then I let the lamp dry completely before I reassembled it.

The yellow barn light adds a happy element to this stylish modern white kitchen. I love the pop of color!

The last project for today is this fun $12 lantern! Stops Rust Fire Red transformed this fun lantern into a bright decor piece that is ideal for indoors or out!

I applied two coats of spray paint approximately 20 minutes apart for this project. Then I let the lantern dry before putting the battery operated candle back in. Spray painting a lantern

I love the pop of classic red on this vintage style kitchen shelf! Plus it ties in the red in the curtains!

I hope you will try a project with spray paint yourself! Let me know if you have any questions!
