Watermelon Cherry Limeade

Watermelon Cherry Limeade

Hi there all my friends! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. It’s warming up here & we are spending more & more time outside. How about where you are? Are you looking forward to summer? It will be here before you know it! That means it’s time to break out the blender & give it a permanent spot on the counter because we will be making slushies, fizzy drinks & so much more. I absolutely love making fun beverages to cool down during the hot months. Toss a bunch of fruit together with some sort of soda & you have yourself something worth sharing. My family just LOVES it! You see, we spent many years living just outside of Vegas before moving to North Idaho. I created so many recipes all with the mindset of cooling down. It’s all you can do when the heat really sets in. We have not forgotten what that heat can be like. It’s oppressive & sticks around for what seems like forever. Now that we are up here where it’s cooler I still love whipping up some of our favorites like this Watermelon Cherry Limeade.

Watermelon Cherry Limeade

You see, cherry limeade is my favorite chiller. So what could make it even better than to add in a little watermelon to give it more slush & a massive taste of summer?! The flavor combination is out of this world! I find myself looking forward to making one almost as soon as I wake up. Unfortunately I usually have to wait a couple hours for the rest of the house to wake up before I can run the blender. But it’s so worth the wait. I love it’s simplicity, just 3 ingredients & a couple minutes is all you need. Cool, refreshing & perfect with every sip! Hands down the most delicious beverage around! You absolutely must try it.
