I went to the movie with my hubsters this weekend, and I really liked it. We went to see Extraordinary Measures. It was inspiring. It made me think about my life, my kids, and of course…decorating. That is when you know you are OBSESSED with DECORATING. I go to a movie that has NOTHING to do with decorating, and that is where my brain automatically goes. I’m a nerd.
When we walked out of the movie theatre…the thing I couldn’t stop thinking about was the. most. SAWEEET. bar stools that were in the movie. If you go to the movie, watch for them. They are in their house in Seattle (where they move toward the end of the movie). They are in the kitchen. This picture is what they looked like: (pretty close)
I have a lot of people ask me where I come up with ideas. I get inspired by my every day life. For example, I get inspired by the buildings I drive by every day. I get inspired by the thank you cards that I see in the store. I get inspired by a friend’s outfit. I have a very visual brain.

No, your not crazy. Gray will look awesome. My whole great room and sitting room is gray. It's light but I LOVE it!! My friends thought I was crazy too, but know they love it, and the accent wall in my room is a really dark bluish turquoise like color and it's awesome! You'll love it!

I LOVE the gray with yellow! I recently saw that color combination in a picture of a laundry room and I was instantly in love. I don't have any yellow in my house, and I plan to have those colors in my laundry room (the only room left to choose colors for).
