Entryway Makeover part 1

The entryway in our home has been on my “to do” list ever since we moved in over a year ago. I’m actually surprised that it has taken me this long to get started. I have a little bit of anxiety about it because it is the first thing that people see when they visit. I knew I wanted to add some character, but I was a little gun shy for some reason.

When we moved into our home, everything was a neutral tan. Neutral can be good, and I have a lot of the same color throughout the house. But, I wanted the entryway to demonstrate more about my personal style. I think that is a problem that a lot of people go through when they buy a new home. It was overwhelming! How do you add character to a new home!?! My home was an empty canvas just waiting for attention. (At least that is how I viewed it).

Are you excited to see what we do in here!?! Well, you won’t have to wait long because the transformation has already begun!

Here are the before pictures.

I told you it was NEUTRAL! Give me a few days, and you’ll see the space transform!

  1. I was really excited to see your project… hurry and finish. I have a very similar entry way that I just hired a designer to help with. I'm especially curious to see what you do with the door color and the wall treatment ?

    Good Luck !!
