Better Homes and Gardens Headquarters!

If you would have told me five years ago that I would be taking a trip to the Meredith Headquarters because of my little blog “All Things Thrifty” I would have laughed in your face.  ATT has given me more opportunities than I could ever dream of, and a few weeks ago, I got to tour the Better Homes and Gardens Headquarters at Meredith in Des Moines, Iowa.

I am humbled and grateful for this chance, and I’m honored they asked me.

I knew the trip was going to be a success when I noticed that they have a “Tuttle” Street in downtown Des Moines. Tuttle is my maiden name. It was an omen.

I will be a part of the Live Better Network this coming year, and they showcased a ton of their {amazing and super affordable} products that are either available at Wal-Mart now or will be this coming year.

This headboard was one of the products that caught my eye from the get-go, but maybe that’s because I’ve been obsessed with headboards lately with my bedroom re-do and all.

This king-sized gray linen headboard is only $219! I was SHOCKED when they started showing us their décor line. Let’s be honest, I don’t normally shop for décor at Wal-Mart. But, keep your eyes open gals, it’s going to be a great year for BHG products at Wal-Mart.

The side table above is a perfect example of the cute style! SPOILER ALERT: I’m redoing my guest bedroom and I bought two of these for that room! They are only $69 each. That is a really good price! In fact, it’s close to the price of nightstands at THRIFT STORES these days. Darn thrift store prices!

The brushed oak look is so fresh and I’m loving that these products are available at Wal-mart!  The folks at BH&G were adamant about providing “better products for better prices.” It was fun to hear them talk about that goal numerous times during my visit to Des Moines.

We also attended classes about food styling and styling and us bloggers were in heaven, and we walked through the test garden and I could live there.

Stay tuned for more posts featuring these fun BHG products at Wal-Mart!

  1. I saw that side table at Wal-Mart yesterday! I totally thought, “That is so cute. What is it doing at Wal-Mart?” You can always count on Better Homes and Gardens to keep it classy, even at Wal-Mart. 🙂

  2. Brooke I bought a Better Homes and Gardens patio dinning set an d chaise lounges years ago. It is now time to replace them and nothing compares in style and comfort. Please see if you can get them to bring back the Bailey Ridge line. Thank you.
