DIY Canvas Trick or Treat Bag!

Happy Thursday friends!! Here we are over halfway through September and moving right along into allllll the holiday goodness! Speaking of holidays, do you LOVE halloween? Like really love? To be honest, I wish I liked it more. Ha! I don’t mind the trick or treating or the dressing up… it’s basically just everything else! Annnnnyway, to get ready for my kids most favorite day of the year, I thought I would make these super fun DIY trick or treat bags that are totally washable and reusable! #genius I seriously love how they turned out!

I know Brooke LOVES Halloween {see here and here for proof} and I hope one day to reach her level of awesomeness! šŸ™‚

What you’ll need:

As long as you have a little experience with your preferred cutting machine, this project is so simple!

Open and download the above file of your choice. Once you have that up and ready, adjust your settings accordingly and cut out your image. Make sure that before you cut out your image, you flip it horizontally or mirror it.

 Once cut, weed the excess.

Center it on your bag before ironing, then using the hottest setting without steam, iron on your image. I also like to take a thin towel or extra piece of fabric and place it over the plastic before using the iron… but that is totally optional!

Make sure you iron the smaller sections really good! You can also go back and iron over them with the towel or fabric once the plastic is off as well and make sure everything is good and adhered!

And that’s it! Look how cute the glitter is!

The cutest little trick or treater! {Who was so confused that she had to put on a costume in August! šŸ˜‰ }

Well, there you have it! I hope you enjoy this fun and simple idea! Have a great weekend! xoxo
